Corky Antelope 2010

Was opening day on the eastern plains of Colorado. I was with Kelley on her first ever hunt. I really wanted to have Kelley shoot an antelope. We stocked this buck for roughly 45 minutes. I had Kelley set up on the shooting sticks and the buck walked broadside at 264 yards and Kelley was not comfortable with the shot. She told me to take him. I steadied the sticks and the mighty 7mm once again roared and the buck dropped in his tracks. Was a great time to spend with my wife in the field and she had a good time watching the whole thing unfold.
